Your regulars already pop in every day. Give them a reason it’s you.
Milk, bread, the paper, a meal deal on the way home. LoveYourLocal turns the people who use your shop every day into members, and keeps them coming back to you instead of the big shop down the road.
Ten minutes on your phone. First month free. Nothing to pay to start.
- Member prices on the lines that matter
- Customers ask, it lands on your shopping list
- See who’s stopped coming, and bring them back
What it does for you.
Member prices on the lines that bring people in
Put a member price on milk, bread, the drinks fridge or your meal deal. Members see it in the app before they walk in. Staff apply it at the till, and with a connected till it comes off as the item scans. No till changes, no new labels.
Customer requests, straight onto your shopping list
A regular asks you to stock their oat milk or a particular brand of crisps. You see the request with their nickname and answer yes, no or maybe, and they get a notification. A yes goes straight onto your ShopRunner shopping list for the next cash and carry run, so nothing gets forgotten on the back of a receipt.
Bring them back
Win back shows you who used to pop in every day and hasn’t been in a fortnight. Send them a reason to come back, like 15% off or a free coffee, and see who returns.
Going soon, before it goes in the bin
Sandwiches, bakery and chilled near their date: put them up at a member price with an end time and roughly how many are left. Your members see it in the app, soonest to end first.
Quiet days, sorted
A gift on a slow Tuesday, double points on the next visit, or something for a run of visits in a row. You choose, and you see what it costs before you switch it on.
Works with your till
Already on ShopRunner, or a POS121 till? Members show their QR at the till, member prices apply as items scan, and rewards come off the sale.
Every visit is 10 points. You set the prices.
Customers learn one rule that works at every business on LoveYourLocal. What a reward costs in points is up to you, and the app shows you what it costs you before it goes live.
Examples. You set your own rewards.
- 7.10am
Dave buys his paper and taps the card on the counter. 10 points, and the app says “Patel’s: two more visits to a free pint of milk”.
- 12.40pm
Aisha asks in the app if you could get oat milk in. You answer “Yes, Thursday” from your phone.
- 4.30pm
Six sandwiches near their date go up as Going soon at £1.50. Four go before you close.
- Friday
Win back shows 12 regulars who haven’t been in for two weeks. You send them a free coffee and five come in on Saturday.
Questions from corner shops
Do I need to change my till?
No. The tap card sits on the counter and works on its own. If you’re on ShopRunner or a POS121 till, linking it will let member prices apply as items scan.
Will it slow the queue down?
No. Customers tap after paying, and it takes about a second. Nobody has to find a paper card or spell out an email address.
My shop has the same sign above the door as others. Is the card shared?
No. Each owner runs their own card. Points earned with you are spent with you, so you only pay for the rewards your own customers claim.
Do I get my customers’ phone numbers?
No, and neither does anyone else. You see the nickname they choose, their visits and their points. You reach them through the app instead.
