LoveYourLocal Set up your business
For customers

Tap, collect, come back for something good.

LoveYourLocal is one loyalty card that works at every local business that uses it. It’s free, and it takes a second at the counter.

Your cards in the LoveYourLocal app: 160 points in all, Rosa’s Café 50 points as a silver member, Kings Barbers 80 points, and shortcuts to member deals, going soon, requests and receipts
Step by step

Four steps, and you only do the first one once.

  1. Get the app

One app for every local business. Open it and you’re ready to collect. You add your sign-in later, before you spend anything.

  2. Tap after you pay

Hold your phone to the LoveYourLocal card on the counter. Your first tap at a new place is how you join it. There’s nothing to search for.

  3. Watch it add up

Each visit is 10 points. The app shows which business counted it and how close you are to the next reward.

  4. Claim at the counter

When you have enough, open the reward and show it to the staff. They approve it and the points come off your balance.

The details

How your points work.

Spent where you earned them

Points you earn at a café are spent at that café. If the business has more than one location, your card works at all of them.

Same sign, different owner

Two shops with the same name above the door can have different owners. Each owner runs their own card, and the app shows you clearly where your points are good.

Levels for regulars

Come in often and you move up a level, which can unlock deals for regulars. Your level is based on what you’ve earned in the last twelve months. Spending points never lowers it.

Member prices

Some businesses offer a lower price on certain things just for members. Show you’re a member and it’s yours.

Gifts that just arrive

A welcome gift when you join, a midweek treat, something for a run of visits. You don’t have to do anything to get them.

Points that wait for you

Points last as long as you keep visiting. After a long gap they can expire: six months for everyday places, twelve for places you visit now and then. We warn you a month before.

Fair for everyone

Fair limits, so the points mean something.

Only so many visits count each day, so tapping the card five times in a row is still one visit. That keeps rewards affordable for the business, which is what keeps them on offer.

Sometimes a business will promise you double points on your next visit. When they do, it shows on your card straight away, so you know it’s real.

No app yet?

Tapping the card without the app opens a web page that takes you to it. Ask at the counter and they can add today’s visit by hand.

Your privacy

The business knows your nickname. That’s it.

You choose the name a business sees. Your phone number and email address are never shared with any business, on any plan. They can only reach you inside the app, and you can mute any of them.
