If you collect points
A visit didn’t count
Only so many visits count each day, so a second tap straight after the first does nothing. If the app said something went wrong, ask at the counter: staff can add the visit by hand.
New phone, or the app says your sign-in has ended
Open the app, go to You and sign in the way you did before (Apple, Google or your email address). Your cards come back with it. Points on a phone that never signed in can’t be recovered, which is why the app asks you to sign in before you spend.
A reward or a member price wasn’t honoured
Each business sets and gives its own rewards. Speak to the business first. If that doesn’t sort it, email us with the business’s name and roughly when it happened.
Your data
To get a copy of what we hold, correct it or delete it, email us or see the privacy policy. You can also delete your account yourself.
If you run a business
Your subscription
You subscribe on loveyourlocal.app, and we take the payment through Stripe. The app itself never asks you to pay. To cancel or change your plan, use the link in your billing email, or email us.
A lost, damaged or stolen tap card
Email us with your business name and which counter it was on. We switch the old one off so it stops counting, and post a replacement.
Staff, offers and the tap log
Most answers are in the business questions. If not, email us.
Contact us
Email [email protected]. A person reads every message and replies by email. Tell us which business it’s about and what you were trying to do, and a screenshot helps.
We never ask for your password, a card number or a code from a text message. Anyone who does is not us.
